Autumn Carnival for Autism
In the Fall of 2005, SaharaCares sponsored a carnival at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City for children with autism. The day featured a scavenger hunt, numerous carnival games and lunch for these children and their families. This event was so successful that we plan to make it an annual event. There were several dozen autistic children and countless volunteers in attendance.
