Valley Partnership's Annual Community Project
Sahara associates participated in this Valley-wide effort to refurbish the Starshine Academy for underprivileged children in Phoenix. The project included painting two buildings, putting down 2000 SF of sod and 2500 SF of decomposed granite, installing a $12,000 jungle gym and a basketball court and standards, and reroofing a building. A mural designed by Phoenix Architect Vernon Swaback was painted on the side of one of the buildings.
